Kensington Microfibre Cushion -
Inspired by the headboard and bedcover of the iconic Mary of Modena bed at Kensington Palace, this cushion adds a dramatic, regal look steeped in 17th-century history and heritage. Printed onto a 100% cotton base in warm ochre yellow and finished with a durable tassel edge.
Inspiration
The principal outer hangings of the bed — including curtains, valances and upholstery — were made from polychrome velvet, probably manufactured in Italy around 1680–90.
The head cloth and headboard feature applied embroidered decoration displaying the crowns and cyphers of James II and Mary of Modena
