Pantone & Dulux Colours of the Year 2020

Posted by Faye Butterworth on

The Pantone palette colour for the year for 2020 is Classic Blue 19-4052.

A timeless and enduring blue hue which is elegant in its simplicity. Think of dusky night skies bringing a sense of peace and tranquillity to the human spirit. Instilling calm, confidence and connection, this enduring blue hue highlights our desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build your new room designs.

In your home design, use classic blue as your main backdrop to furniture and wall coverings whether paint or wallpaper.

For furniture classic blue velvet teamed with bold floral prints gives a sumptuous regal feel to any interior.

The new collection “Journey Beyond” by Prestigious encapsulates bold floral patterns printed on velvet. My absolute favourite is the Bengal Tiger Twilight fabric with its bold print on a background of classic blue with accent tones of acidic yellows and greens. Featuring the Bengal Tiger of burnt orange tones very on trend for 2020.

Accessorise your room with coloured glassware and exotic flowers. Tiger lilies have a gorgeous deep terracotta and ochre hue.

All fabrics available from our on-line store.
